Current Information:

To Our Lincoln Park PAL Community:

During these unsettling and unprecedented times, the safety and well-being of our youth athletes, coaches, and the broader community is on the top of our minds.  As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, the PAL will work closely with the Borough of Lincoln Park administration and health department to ensure that we are following all appropriate recommendations and guidelines in an effort to protect the community we serve.

The Borough has informed us that the PAL building is going to be closed until such time that the Health Department deems it prudent to resume activities involving large crowds and close contact.  In addition, the sports fields in town will be closed to organized sports activities to minimize contact between players and spectators.

Similar actions are being taken by communities across the state and the country in an effort to stop the spread of the virus.  We will keep you informed about the status of the spring sports seasons as the situation continues to develop and as we get additional guidance from our health officials.

The Borough has resources for additional information regarding the ongoing situation.  Please monitor their website, Facebook, Twitter and Channel 77 for additional information.

Please know we are thinking of you and your loved ones and appreciate the role we get to play in your lives.

Thank you,
Lincoln Park PAL Board

Thank you to the Lincoln Park Lions Club for their generous donation to all of our sports programs!  Please be sure to help support the Lions Club.
Their motto is "We Serve" and local Lions Club programs include sight conservation, hearing and speech conservation, diabetes awareness, youth outreach, international relations, environmental issues, and many other programs.

Congratulations to the 11U Leopards on their terrific season with a first place finish this past fall  in the Morris County Youth Soccer league!!

The Lincoln Park Soccer Club participated in the Red Bulls "Tackle Kids Cancer" event at the Red Bulls last home game of the fall 2019 season.  Lincoln Park carried the Red Bull banner to the center circle during the pre-game ceremony and National Anthem.  More pictures in the Soccer tab.

Amazon Smile - We know some of you purchase items on Amazon.  In fact, some of us purchase a lot on Amazon!  Amazon has a program where they donate a portion of their sales back to non-profit  organizations such as ours.  You don't pay anything extra as this donation comes out of their pocket, not yours.  How does it work you ask?  Simple go to smile.amazon.com and under organizations your supporting, select Police Athletic League of Lincoln Park Inc.  It's that easy!

ATTENTION ALL COACHES - The PAL board has recently implemented a new policy on concussion training.  Starting in 2019, all coaches will need to take the free CDC concussion online class.  This will be good for three years after which all coaches will need to take again.  The only coaches exempt from taking it this year will be new basketball coaches who took the class in November/December 2018.  This is such an important topic in helping you understand a concussion and the potential consequences of the injury to the young athlete.  After taking the class you must print out the certificate indicating your completion.   Click the image on the left to take class.  Be sure to print out certificate when complete.

PAL Vice President Jen Postiglione accepts a donation from Maria Rodriguez of Blue Foundry Bank (formerly Boiling Springs Savings Bank).  Blue Foundry Bank has been a supporter of the PAL programs for many years and we value them as one of our supporters!

THANK YOU BLUE FOUNDRY BANK!

Support Lincoln Park PAL through Boiling Springs Community Alliance Program -
How would you like to donate to the Lincoln Park PAL without a penny coming out of your pocket?  If you have a checking or savings account at Boiling Springs Savings Bank, the LP PAL can make money through your participation in the Community Alliance Program.

This program is completely anonymous (we don't know who the participants are or their balances) and the funding comes from the bank, not your account.

For more information on the program, click here.  To enroll in the program, next time you are at the bank let them know, or complete this form and drop off at the bank.  If you are looking to open a new checking or savings account, this is a GREAT reason to select Boiling Springs and a GREAT opportunity to help support the PAL programs.
