Instructional SoftballThe Instructional Softball (Coach Pitch) division is designed for girls who’s skills and ages are between T-Ball and Minors (generally ages seven and eight). Among teammates of their own age and experience level, players continue building and refining their fundamental skills, while they begin to understand game strategy. Instructional Softball will introduce the girls to more advanced skills and drills and combines an instructional atmosphere with game play. Team rosters are generally kept small to provide a higher coach to player ratio; ideally about one coach to every two or three players. Coaches pitch and catch during game play and are on the field to instruct defensive players during live play. Any questions regarding Lincoln Park PAL Softball should be directed to:
